We are glad to announce that Swami Pitambarananda, an erudite scholar-monk of the Ramakrishna Order who has been giving a series of scriptural classes online at RKMVERI Deemed University in the virtual mode for the benefit of eager spiritual aspirants and has already completed the exposition of texts like Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Narada Bhakti Sutras, Vivekachudamani, Vedanta Sara, Brahma-sutras (Chatussutri), Mundaka and Prashna Upanishads with Shankara Bhashya (commentaries), etc., has kindly agreed to continue the online series of classes (on Zoom platform) and will next take up Mandukya Upanishad (with Gaudapada Karika) with Shankara Bhashyas thereon.
These classes on Mandukya Upanishad will be held, as before, once a week on Wednesdays, 5.30 to 6.30 PM, starting from Wednesday, 25 January 2023.

Gita Press has published Mandukya Upanishad (with Gaudapada Karika) and Shankara Bhashyas thereon (along with an excellent Hindi translation) which may be used as the text-book for these classes. English translations by Swami Gambhirananda and/or Swami Nikhilananda, both published by Advaita Ashrama, may also be consulted.
