ADMISSION NOTICE
TO ALL OUR STUDENTS, DEVOTEES-STUDENTS OF THE
SPIRITUAL HERITAGE COURSES AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED SEEKERS
It was so encouraging to see an unusual upsurge of eager aspirants and devotees in the Akhanda Sri Sri Chandi Path (Chanting of the whole of Sri Sri Chandi, also known as Durga Saptashati or Devi Maahaatmyam) during the Mahalaya Day recently (on 21 Sept 2025), with 900 devotees chanting this sacred text in original Sanskrit in chorus. Enthused by such an overwhelming response, the undersigned announced on that day that those who are interested in studying this text in more detail may register their names. The response to this appeal was quite encouraging and so many have evinced interest. We have therefore decided to begin online classes on Sri Sri Chandi (Durga Saptashati) in accordance with the following schedule:
Day and time: On every Sunday from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in virtual (online mode).
(The online zoom link will be shared with all the registered participants).
Medium of instruction: Predominantly Bengali, with a mix of English.
Please register your names online (by clicking the Registration Link: https://zfrmz.in/JMyVePELfoxzI1RSE2h0) or offline (at the Reception Desk at Medha Bhavan, Belur Main Campus of the University, by paying fees of Rs.2000/- (rupees two thousand only) for one whole year, on all Sundays as indicated above. As we will be strictly following the Sri Sri Chandi (Durga Saptashati) book (either in Bengali or Sanskrit—Devanagari script) published by the Gita Press, available in any of the Gita Press bookshops—at Govinda Bhavan, the main bookshop in Kolkata and/or any of the Gita Press bookstalls in Railway Stations, etc.), we expect that all the students who register for these classes have with them individual copies of this book. We will also share the online version on the screen during the classes. We invite all our devotee-students and all the interested aspirants to please join in large numbers.
